Greetings everyone! Welcome to our first Slug Disco monthly round-up, where we bring you the latest highlights of our published titles and events. This April has been full of events and announcements, from new content updates to impressive milestones. So let us dive right in, shall we?
Earth Appreciation Festival 2025

Earth Appreciation Festival 2025 marked a great start to April for us. Over 160 games have joined us on this event to celebrate our planet in recognition of World Earth Day, either by highlighting nature at its finest or showing the grim consequences should we fail to protect it. For the first time, EAF features a digital showcase with 29 different titles, where developers share the latest news and updates of their work to a wider audience.
A massive shout out to our co-organizers Stray Fawn Studios and Mechanistry, and of course all participating games for helping us to make it happen. It has been a pleasure to share our love and passion for our beautiful Earth with so many games and showcase some truly amazing and promising titles at this event.
Primordial Empire – Demo Launch
We are very pleased to have Primordial Empire joining our ranks. This vibrant and colourful microscopic colony sim debuted at the Earth Appreciation Festival with a demo launch, and the reception has been highly encouraging. Within 2 weeks of the demo release, it has already hit the 5,000 wishlist milestone, and we are very grateful for such a positive response from our players. The tiny microbes are building an ambitious empire with your motivation, one cell at a time. If you want to help them out, try the demo and wishlist Primordial Empire on Steam!

Green Again – Demo Updates
Green Again, our relaxing colony builder where you help adorable plant people terraform a barren planet, just got a new demo update at the end of March. It offers players a substantial amount of new content – a whole new map with unique challenges and objectives, as well as a myriad of fixes and optimizations. Check out the updated demo here.

To further streamline the gameplay experience and make it more engaging for new players, there was a follow-up patch in April where we added various fixes and optimizations to Green Again. You can see the full changelog in Green Again’s April Community Update on Steam.
Strange Seed – Wishlists Milestone
Strange Seed has surpassed 20,000 wishlists! A big thank you to everyone for cheering for the tiny pink blob and helping it reach this impressive milestone. Chronicle Games, the talented developers behind this unique spore-like creature creator, are working hard to bring more evolutions and new content to the game. We cannot wait to see the pink blob’s final form.
