So for a while now the basic form of the Empires of the Undergrowth website has been “nearly finished”. It contains some stunning artwork form our multi-talented lead programmer/artist and has been put together (nearly) by me!

As always I have been learning on the job here. I have worked in websites for a while now but this is the first time I have put one together for a game. In my research it seems game websites remain mostly static once they are up, however they are very responsive. This has lead me to essentially produce style sheets for many sites at once for multiple resolutions… then we decided we needed more. On top of this there must be a further version built that is completely stretchy to deal with the various mobile device sizes out there.
You no longer build one website; you build many on top of one another. Either way I am close now, so above is a screen shot from the work in progress. It will be available at www.eotugame.com so watch that space!
